What Is an RFID Clear Tag?
An RFID Clear Tag is essentially a radio-frequency identification tag housed in a transparent material, typically ABS or PET, which does not interfere with its performance. These tags operate on standard frequencies:
UHF (860–960 MHz) for long-range reading
HF (13.56 MHz) for short-range applications
Compatible with EPC Class 1 Gen 2 and ISO 18000-6C protocols
The tags consist of a microchip, an antenna, and a protective transparent housing. Many RFID Clear Tags are reusable, supporting multiple read/write cycles, and can store data for years, making them ideal for ongoing asset tracking.
