According to NXP, the NTAG21x family provides 144, 504, or 888 bytes of freely available user read/write memory for NTAG213, NTAG215, and NTAG216 respectively.

Choosing NTAG216 does not automatically mean that every application needs the additional memory. If your application only stores a short URL, a smaller chip may be sufficient. NTAG216 becomes more useful when the project requires additional NDEF information or greater data capacity.
