NFC tags in a keyring format
NFC Keychains & Key Fobs
Choose NFC keychains for tap-to-share links, branded promotions and identification projects. Compare printed epoxy designs and molded key fobs, then choose the chip, artwork and encoded data for your order.
Choose an NFC tag keychain
Start with the format your users will carry. A printed epoxy keychain puts your artwork first; a molded key fob offers a familiar housing for repeated use. The chip and encoded content can then be selected around the intended phone or reader.

Custom printed epoxy NFC keychains
Make your logo the starting point. Choose a printed epoxy format with artwork on the front and back, with QR codes or serial numbers where required.
For branded giveaways, customer engagement and individually identified tags.

NTAG213 NFC key fobs
A molded key-fob format for URL sharing, identification and NFC projects. Compare the available housing and branding options on the product page.
Start here for a short website link; confirm the encoded record against your application.

NTAG215 & NTAG216 key fobs
Compare these chip options when your NFC record needs more storage than NTAG213. Select the chip and housing together for your project.
The shared photo illustrates housing styles; specify NTAG215 or NTAG216 when ordering.

NTAG424 DNA NFC key fobs
An NFC key-fob option for projects requiring AES-128-based authentication, rather than only storing a shared link. Logo, color, numbering and QR options are described on the product page.
Plan key provisioning, verification software and reader compatibility as part of the deployment.

Your brand, your NFC content
Custom NFC keychains for branded and bulk orders
Combine the physical design with what happens after a tap. Logo printing, QR codes and serial numbers can help people recognize and use the keychain; the NFC record supplies the link or data read by a compatible device.
For a full-color promotional design, explore custom epoxy NFC keychains with double-sided artwork and custom shapes. For a molded key fob, choose the housing and available marking method before finalizing the artwork.
Choose what varies across the order
- Appearance: one shared design, or specified colors and artwork versions.
- Printed information: a logo, QR code, serial number or other agreed fields.
- NFC content: the same URL on every tag, individual URLs, text or compatible NFC records.
- Delivery format: blank for your own encoding, or pre-encoded to the agreed data file.
Where printed IDs and NFC records must correspond, supply their mapping together. Printing a chip UID is different from changing the chip’s factory identifier.
Which NFC chip should your keychain use?
Choose the chip around the data and the system, rather than the color of the shell. For a URL or NDEF project, share an example record so the required storage can be checked.
| Chip direction | When to consider it | Product information |
|---|---|---|
| NTAG213 | A short website link or a compact NFC record. Check the finished record before choosing. | NTAG213 NFC key fob |
| NTAG215 | More data space than NTAG213, or an application that specifically requires NTAG215. | NTAG215 NFC key fobs |
| NTAG216 | A larger NDEF record that needs more storage than NTAG215. Memory alone does not determine reading distance. | NTAG216 NFC key fob |
| NTAG424 DNA | Authentication-focused projects using AES-128 security features. Plan the keys and verification system; this is a different selection task from simply choosing more NFC memory. | NTAG424 DNA NFC key fob |
| An existing access system | Start with the system’s required chip, protocol and credential setup. An ordinary URL tag is not automatically a working door credential. | Explore the broader RFID keyfob range |
A 125 kHz or UHF key fob is not interchangeable with a phone-readable NFC tag. Tell us whether the target is a smartphone, a desktop reader or an installed access terminal.
Match the keychain to the task
Share a business link
Use a compatible NFC keychain to open a website, contact page or campaign destination. The destination and any online service remain part of your project; the keychain supplies the physical NFC tag.
Identify a member or item
Combine a keyring format with printed numbering or an agreed identifier. Decide how the tag’s data will connect to your existing membership or asset records.
Work with an installed reader
Provide the reader model and required credential technology first. Frequency alone does not establish compatibility, enrollment or permission to access a system.
NFC keychain buying questions
Are NFC keychains and NFC key fobs different products?
The names often describe the same keyring-format NFC tag. Compare the actual housing, chip, printed design and intended application rather than relying on the name alone.
Can the keychains arrive pre-programmed?
Pre-encoding can be discussed for URLs, text and compatible NFC records. Supply an example and indicate whether all tags use the same content or each tag needs a different record. Confirm any write-lock requirement before production.
Will a keychain work with my phone or door reader?
Phone use depends on the chip, data format, device and software. A door system additionally requires the correct credential and enrollment. Test the selected configuration with the intended device or system before a bulk deployment.
Can I combine a QR code with NFC?
Yes, QR printing and NFC encoding are available options in the custom epoxy range. Specify whether the QR code and NFC tag should open the same destination, and whether that destination varies by item.
How are custom NFC keychains quoted?
Share the quantity, shape or reference design, chip requirement, artwork and encoding needs. These details define the configuration to quote; do not select a chip or printing process solely from the appearance of a product photo.
Request NFC keychains for your project
Tell us what the buyer or user should do with the keychain. Include:
- Quantity and preferred housing, shape or design reference.
- Phone application or reader model, and a chip requirement if known.
- Logo, QR code, numbering and other printed fields.
- An example NFC record, plus shared or per-item data requirements.
